Material Matters My Material Manager Version 2026.08.18

My Material Manager

A management application for biosolids and residuals — taking you from source to application and everything along the way.

My Material Manager brings client, farm, field, source, sample, prescription, and reporting data together in one centralized web system — so your team can plan applications, keep records defensible, and generate regulatory reports without rebuilding a spreadsheet every season.

Reporting

The reports your permit asks for

Prescriptions, tracking, loading rates, and year-end summaries are built in — rendered on screen, exported to PDF, or sent to Excel.

  • Prescription N Report — the full agronomic-rate worksheet, from crop nitrogen requirement through the biosolids application rate, plus P2O5 and K2O fertilizer equivalents.
  • Agronomic Loading Prescription — a field copy for the land applier, with measured total solids, loads per acre, and sign-off columns.
  • Ag Rate Tracking — PAN applied against prescription in season, with a configurable threshold that flags fields approaching their agronomic limit.
  • Cumulative & Annual Pollutant Loading — metals loading in lb/acre per field, measured against CPLR and APLR limits.
  • Farmer’s Report — a crop-year nitrogen balance per field, including carryover, manure, legume, and fertilizer credits, with pollutant charts.
  • Monthly Disposition & Annual Report — wet tons, dry tons, average %TS, hauler, and permit number, rolled up for the reporting period.

Data Management

One record of everything you land-applied

Every source, field, sample, and load lives in the same system — so the numbers behind a report are always traceable back to the ticket that produced them.

  • Sources — generating facilities with NPDES and PAG permit details, pathogen and vector attraction process descriptions, prescription characteristics, and attached permit documents.
  • Farms & Fields — total and approved acreage, soil group, crop year status, GPS coordinates with map links, farm contacts, and per-farm documents.
  • Biosolids Applications — the application log: date, acres, amount applied, source sample, total solids, weather, equipment, and calculated PAN applied.
  • Samples & Lab Results — analytical results keyed to your monitoring parameter list, with detection limits, qualifiers, methods, and reporting limits.
  • Scale Tickets — hauling records tied to farm, field, crop year, and source, filterable by date, ticket, or sample number.
  • Journal & Notes — dated site observations tagged to the farm, field, or source they belong to.

Agronomic Rates

Rates calculated, not estimated

Enter the crop plan and the sample results; the application handles the arithmetic that determines how much material a field can actually take.

  • Plant-available nitrogen derived from your own lab results and total solids
  • Multi-year carryover using per-client mineralization coefficients
  • Legume, manure, and commercial fertilizer credits netted against crop need
  • Phosphorus and potash fertilizer equivalents alongside the nitrogen rate
  • Crop-year scoping throughout, with planned crops, planting dates, and yield goals

Compliance

Built around 40 CFR Part 503

My Material Manager is designed to meet the federal regulatory requirements outlined in 40 CFR Part 503 for nutrient tracking, metals loading rates, and biosolids disposition tracking. It is continually updated to account for changing regulations and technical advances in wastewater treatment residuals production.

Nutrient Tracking

Nitrogen and phosphorus tracked per field and crop year, against agronomic need.

Metals Loading

Cumulative and annual pollutant loading rates maintained per field, with configurable limits and history.

Pathogen & Vector Attraction

Process detail carried on the source and reproduced on land-application notification forms.

Permits & Disposition

NPDES and PAG-07 / PAG-08 permit numbers carried through to monthly disposition reporting.

Also Included

Built for the way your operation actually runs

Bring your team

Multiple users with role-based access — from standard users up to client administrators who manage their own people. Staff and consultants work from the same records.

Import instead of retype

Load lab results and scale tickets from Excel, CSV, or text using import definitions you configure yourself, with column mapping, value translation, and re-runnable history.

Fields on a map

Latitude and longitude at both the farm and field level, with map links per record and a single view of every geocoded farm in your operation.

Documents where they belong

Attach permits, photos, and site paperwork directly to the source, farm, or company — with document type, date, revision number, and who uploaded it.

Configured to your program

Monitoring parameters, lookup lists, report names, mineralization factors, and loading limits are all client-specific — and can be customized further by our programmers.

How It Works

Source to application, then back out as a report

1

Set up sources and fields

Record generating facilities, permits, farms, fields, and approved acreage.

2

Bring in the data

Import lab results and scale tickets, or enter samples and applications directly.

3

Prescribe and track

Generate agronomic rates ahead of the season, then track applied PAN against them.

4

Report with confidence

Produce disposition, loading rate, farmer, and annual reports straight from the record.

Who It’s For

Built for wastewater treatment facilities, land appliers, and the consultants who support them

If you generate, haul, or land-apply biosolids and residuals — and someone eventually asks you to prove where it went and what it contained — My Material Manager is built for that question. We will walk through the reports your program depends on and show what setup would look like for your sources and fields.
